This performance of the mighty St Matthew Passion will be in it's original language, with double Chorus and double Baroque orchestra. A giant of a work and a gleaming jewel of the entire choral repertoire. A work not often performed, especially in this part of Norfolk. We look forward to working with five superb soloists and the the professional Meridian Sinfonia, best known for their authentic and highly acclaimed performances on period instruments.

CALLING ALL SINGERS

JOIN US!

Singing is good for your health - that’s now an established fact. Make a good start in 2020 and get together with like-minded folk from all walks of life, once a week for a choral workout during term time.

Putting us through our paces are two highly accomplished and experienced (and very kind!) professionals: Music Director, Tom Appleton and Assistant Music Director, Ben Horden. They check up on our voices when we join and it’s all very friendly and constructive.

Being the choir that we are, it helps if you can follow a musical score and keep in tune.

If you would like to try us out, please come along to our Monday evening rehearsals, usually held at Springwood High School, Queensway, King’s Lynn. 7.15pm to 9.40pm

Contact the secretary for more details

Several people came to sing with us
last summer for

the SING FOR SHELTER PROJECT

culminating in a performance on the King's Lynn Tuesday Market Place to raise money for the charity Shelter and raise awareness of the
homelessness crisis. See our video with seagull and blustery wind sound effects here:
